All-on-4 Dental Implants in Anchorage, AK

Render of a full-arch dental prosthesis supported by four implants in the lower jaw

All-on-4 replaces a full arch of teeth, upper or lower, using four strategically placed dental implants per arch. The same-day surgical approach often allows patients to leave with a full set of new teeth in a single day, which makes it a faster and more efficient full-arch option than replacing teeth one at a time.

Who It Is For

If you are missing multiple teeth, tired of wearing a denture or partial, and ready for a permanent solution that does not come out, All-on-4 is worth a conversation. Call us for a consultation.

What To Expect

All-on-4 is a full-arch application of the same implant technology used to replace a single tooth. Planning starts with imaging. By carefully studying the 3-D image we can virtually place implants using software that lets us see if the implant placement will be successful with different anatomy structures and the amount of bone in the area. On the day of surgery, existing teeth will be removed, implants will be placed and a prosthesis (bridge) with teeth will be securely mounted on the implants. You will leave that day with teeth! Surprisingly, most people report minimal discomfort after surgery.

See our dental implants page for how the process works, and our technology page for the cone beam scanner used to plan placement.

All-on-4 Questions

How many implants are used?
Four strategically placed implants per arch, upper or lower.

Will I leave with teeth the same day?
The same-day surgical approach often allows patients to leave with a full set of new teeth in a single day.

Does it come out like a denture?
No. All-on-4 is a permanent solution that does not come out, which is the main difference from a denture or partial.

How is it different from replacing teeth one at a time?
It restores the whole arch at once, which makes it a faster and more efficient full-arch option. In areas where a single implant is not possible because of bone loss, it can be possible with All-on-4 due to different implant angulation. Also, a single tooth implant must have time to heal before a tooth is placed for chewing. With All-on-4, implants are immediately used to secure all the teeth. This process splints the implants together and helps with the healing process. You will leave the day of surgery with non-removable teeth that look beautiful and natural!
